    "ocrText": "February 5, 1942\nMiss Henrietta Sophia Fitch\n75 Grove Street\nMontclair, New Jersey\nMy dear Miss Fitch:\nTransportation arrangements, as you know, are being made by\nthe Army which has control over all boats leaving the Coast and\nwe are in daily communication with the Army regarding arrangements.\nAs all shipping facilities are in great demand, we now believe there\nis going to be more of a delay in getting the Unit off than we hoped.\nI do not like to mention any definite time but we are really thinking\nof a delay of possibly as much as a month. We are assured of the need\nfor the nurses, however, and we are hoping to have transportation avail-\nable before too long.\nWe would suggest that you complete all papers which we have sent\nyou as soon as possible so that we would be in & position to act more\nquickly then I have indicated if necessary. Please keep us informed of\nwhere we can reach you very quickly if necessary or of any change in\ncircumstances which would interfer with your going through with the\nassignment.\nSincerely yours,\nVirginia M.
