The use of the name "Thorpe" in my letter was an
error, it should have been "Forbes."
I have written Mrs.
Forbes as you suggested and I am enclosing a copy of my letter to
her herewith. If no reply is received to this, she certainly is
not interested in having either Home Defense or general enroll-

I was surprised to learn from the copy of your letter
to Mrs. Forbes that there has been a change in policy in regard to
enrolling nurses who marry while their enrollment applications are
