Miss Djein A. Delano
Miss Meibl Boardman
There is a country covered with glory in
which despair and hope are combating in the soul of its people- as
brave in its sufferings as it is calm and pitiable in its groanings.
With the responsiveness of your noble
soul amidst comforts and satisfaction, whilst with you everything
and everyone is happy, you took part in the glory of this country
by listening to the sufferings of its people. In the place of the
small compared with your great cities, Philippopolis, you help many
unfortunates who are exhausted under the double weight of want and
sickness.
Thanks to your favorable consent, your noble
and devoted to self-forgetfulness sisters of mercy remained to work
together with us, assisted with the means which your munificence
presented to us. With this you gave us the greatest moral and
material help to our society.
In token of deep gratitude, the committee of the
society in its meeting of Jan. 27, 1917, protocol No. 41 proclaims
you for honorary member of the society "Samaryanka"
