Miss Helen Scott Hay:

At a meeting of the Claims Committee held November 6,
1931, I presented the attached letter dated October 26, 1931, addressed
to you by Miss Lona L. Trott, relative to the present condition of Miss
Helen Scott Hay.
The Committee did not feel it necessary in this case
to ask Mrs. Fletcher to submit any further report.
11 The Committee voted to recommend to the Chairman that
Miss Hay's allowance of $50.00 per month be extended for six months from
November 12, 1931 to May 11, 1932, inclusive, or as much thereof as may
be necessary. The Chairman has approved the action of the Committee and
I
have today advised the Department of Accounts to that effect.
