Extracted from letter from Miss Noyes to Dr. J.H.Mason Knox, Jr. June 20, 1923. Heilman
Mrs. Charlotte M. Heilman, who has done a magnificient piece of Child Welfare
work in Greece, having organized the work in that country, adding to it the
care of five or six thousand refugee babies, school Nursing, and have been
instrumental in getting good laws established on the subject of the care of
children, school nursing etc. will probably return to this country within the
next three months She is of course a very high type person, a graduate of
John Hopkins and invaluable as an administrator and organizer. Probably some of
the other nurses who are with us in that work will be coming out, but I am rather
under the impression they will be transferred to the other organizations. I can
let you know, however, within a short time it you wish further information upon
the subject."
