Miss Klinefelter and I are delighted to receive your application for admission to the Teàcher Training Course for Instructors in Home Hygiene and Care of the Sick at Colorado State College this summer. It gives me pleasure to accept you M as a student for this work which I believe will prove very valuable. Your application will be forwarded to the Director of the Summer Session at the College. I am wondering if you are acquainted with Miss Faith Battey, Red Cross Public Health Nurse in Rockport, Massechusetts. Miss Battey is also planning to take the Teacher Training Course at Colorado State College and it occurred to us that you two might like to travel together. Miss Battey's present address is Rockport, Massachusetts. Her permanent address is Moosup, Connecticut. The enclosed list of references will give you a per- spective as to the subject matter covered in the courses at Fort Collins. The reading of these books is not required for admission to the classes, but if you have some leisure time, you will find it profitable to review at least one reference on each topic since your teaching plans will include these materials. Many of these books or their equivalents will be available for study at the College. You will need to take the following with you to Fort Collins: 1. At least two white uniforms 2. Either white or black shoes with sensible heels and stockings to match 3. Watch with second hand 4. Home Hygiene textbook 5. Instructor's Guide 0 a
