My dear Miss Hines:
The Maryland State Nurses' Association has advised
us of your willingness to continue service as a member of our
Maryland State and Local Committee and recommends your
reappointment.
We are very glad to know that you are available for
this service and take pleasure in informing you that you are
hereby appointed member of the Maryland State and Local
Committee on Red Cross Nursing Service for the coming year.
This appointment is made in accordance with the rules govern-
ing such Committees, a copy of which is enclosed.
We are also enclosing a copy of our pamphlet, ARC
703, which sets forth the requirements for enrollment. This
may be of assistance to you in giving information to nurses
whom you may be able to interest in applying for enrollment.
For your information, may we state that the officers
of the Maryland State and Local Committee are as follows:
