EXTRACT FROM MISS MacLACHLAN'S LETTER - August 18, 1943
Thank you for your letter to Miss McDermott. She has done very good work and worked hard as
acting dietitian at Wahiawa Emergency Hospital. She enjoys doing the unusual and is unhappy
to
going back to the ordinary routine, She also feels that she should be promoted to a
supervisor, but we have all the supervisors we can use.
