War Service February 27, 1934 Miss Butler Re: Senger, Walter Vincent Pvt. Co. C. 310th Inf. Transi Machine Gun Co. 310th Inf. Enl: April 3, 1918, Rochester Dis: May 29, 1919 Wounded at Bois des Loges Oct. 19, 1918 Upon receipt of the attached letter and knowing that we could not locate the nurse referred to in our files, we called the Army Nurse Corps and asked them to look up the roster of nurses on duty at Base Hospital No. 1, Neuilly-sur- LeSeine, France. In looking up this list the Army Nurse Corps found only one nurse listed as night nurse. The person to whom we refer was night supervisor and we are glad to give you her name and present address, she may remember the claimant - Miss Blenche H. Kacena 216 South Kingshighway St. Louis, Missouri In looking over her records we find that she was with the American Hospital in France and was on duty there from 1917 to January 9, 1919.
