C. 310th Inf.\nTransi Machine Gun Co.\n310th Inf.\nEnl: April 3, 1918, Rochester\nDis: May 29, 1919\nWounded at Bois des Loges\nOct. 19, 1918\nUpon receipt of the attached letter and knowing that\nwe could not locate the nurse referred to in our files, we\ncalled the Army Nurse Corps and asked them to look up the\nroster of nurses on duty at Base Hospital No. 1, Neuilly-sur-\nLeSeine, France. In looking up this list the Army Nurse Corps\nfound only one nurse listed as night nurse. The person to whom\nwe refer was night supervisor and we are glad to give you her\nname and present address, she may remember the claimant -\nMiss Blenche H. Kacena\n216 South Kingshighway\nSt. Louis, Missouri\nIn looking over her records we find that she was with\nthe American Hospital in France and was on duty there from 1917\nto January 9, 1919.
