I was sorry not to see you when you
were in Washington, for I should have liked to talk the
matter over with you. I expect to be in New York City,
however, on April 21st and 22nd. If you would like to
Fee me. I think I could arrange to meet you some place.
I shall be very busy, but time might be made if you think
it desirable to have such a conference.
I am a little puzzled by your reference
to he next meeting in Virginia. $hat does that mean -
a meeting of the State Association, or 8 meeting with
certain members of the Delano Memorial Committee.
I hope you are having pleasanter weather
in New York than we are here. We almost feel as if summer
came the first of arch, for we had very warm weather which
brought everything out, but lately it has been cold and
raw and rainy, and the second crop of cherry blossome are
not yet in bloom. Peach trees, however, are blossoming
and the city when the sun does shine was never lovelier.
