0 QUESTIONNAIRES DESTROYED September 13. 1934 Miss MarieJ. Ryan Secretary, Local Committee Red Cross Nursing Service 2246 North 4th Street Columbus, Ohio My dear Miss Ryan: Our attention has just been called to the fact that we have heard nothing from the following surses since the dates given: #32337 Click, Mrs. Jane Vennard 1928 31363 Dailey, Melissa McVeigh 1929 15761 Dunson, Bessie Hazel 1919 23673 Kidd, Caroline Amelia 1920 30393 Kinney, Carrie Glenn 1918 25869 Jones, Gwenn 1918 According to our records these nurses are enrolled with the Columbus, Ohio Local Committee on Red Cross Nursing Service and we wonder if their #2 cards are still in your file.. It occurs tous that they may have been lost as we feel sure that if you had the cards of any nurses from whom you had heard nothing since the dates given, you would have sent them in to us with a recommendation for annullment or for transfer to the third reserve long before this. On the other hand, if you do have these #2 cards and you have ha information as to the nurses' present addresses, although you have tried to locate then through the addresses on file, do you not think they should be transferred to the third reserve without further delay? In this case, we will be glad to have you send us their #2 cards for proper action. Very sincerely yours Director of Nursing National Headquarters MR:SR # 2 and not in Columbia O file
