My dear Miss Lake:
Your papers have been received from the
Division Superintendent and have been submitted to the War
Department for their approval, so you can be cleared by that
Department. We feel sure that your papers will be returned in
a short time, after which you will receive full instructions
from the Division of Personnel. We will also send you some
instructions but in the meantime there is nothing you can do
but wait for the War Department to a ct.
We shall be delighted to send you to France
for work with the Children's Hospital, either surgical or ortho-
pedic, and I feel sure you will be of tremendous help to us in
that country.
