C.\nMy dear Miss Koopman:\nAccording to the physical standards supplied to us by the Army and Navy,\nit seems to us that you do not qualify for membership in the First Reserve because\nyou are overweight.\nEven though we have granted you Home Defense enrollment, we assume that\nyou filed your application because of your desire to serve and we have therefore\nnotified the Military Service for which you stated a preference of your enrollment.\nYou will doubtless hear from them shortly. They will be glad to arrange for you\nto have a physical examination by one of their examining officers to determine\ndefinitely whether or not you can qualify for service with the Military.\nPlease respond at once to any communication you may have.
