Mr. Rene Leprestre
501 Fifth Avenue
New York, N. Y.
My dear Mr. Leprestre:
We are very grateful to you for your
letter of June tenth, which contains exactly the in-
formation we have been trying to secure from your daugh-
ter. We did not question your citizenship; the only
thing we wished to secure was a statement regarding your
citizenship so that we might know that though Miss Gene-
vieve Leprestre was born in France she was an American
citizen.
Unfortunately your daughter did not fill
in the question which asks her to state the citizenship
of her father. Your letter has made the situation quite
clear and we are enrolling your daughter in the Red Cross
Nursing Service.
Thanking you for your interest and CO-
operation, I am
Very truly yours
Clara D. Noyes
Chairman, National Committee
Red Cross Nursing Service
