My dear Miss McLeod:
On November 11, 1937, we received a letter from
Mrs. Esther K. Long, Supervisor, Visiting Nurse Service,
Perth Amboy-Carteret Chapter, American Red Cross, Perth
Amboy, N.J., stating that she had sent her application papers
for enrollment in the Red Cross Nursing Service to you.
It is very important that we should receive these
papers completed and ready for action, at your earliest
possible convenience. I am sure that the papers were sent
to you some months ago. If you have not been able to complete
them, will you be good enough to send them to this office in
order that we may study them and decide what is best to be
done with them.
