Miss Madley and All the Nursing Staff
November 18, 1941
I am not quite sure from the reports what you want for the
Recreation Building. I believe that by seeing Mr. David Bruce I can find
out more about it. This I am going to do. That Center certainly ought to
be as delightful as it can be made. Think of the covered runways being
all done! I can visualize immaculate starched nurses in white shoes, going
along those walks with that intense and purposeful gait which we all asso-
ciate with nurses. The more I write to you, the more eager I grow to be
there and to see for myself.
With my very best good wishes to each one of the 62 of you -
no I will change that and say to each one of the 83, I am
