This is to confirm the arrangements which have been made with
you by the Bureau of Nursing Service, which we understand are as follows:-
Your salary is to be $60,00 per month, dating from Jan. 23rd.
The Red Cross has arrenged to pay your transportation expenses
from New York to Bordeaux. Please refer to the enclosed letter to the
Compagnie Generale Transallantique.
The Red Cross will bear the expenses incurred in obtaining your
passport and visas.
We understand the question of allowance for your equipment and
uniform has been covered by your correspondence with the Nurses' Bureau.
Arrangements will be made to pay for your living expenses while
abroad.
In the event that you wish to make an assignment of part of your
salary to anyone in the United States, we would request that you indicate
such assignment on the attached forms and return et your earliest convenience be

accepted you by the Treasury Department hare for making disbursements of salary
in the United States.
If you will report to our New York Office, regarding the expenses will
