My dear Miss Markley:
Thank you for your letter informing us why you resign-
ed from the Veterans Administration. We ean appreciate your
circumstances and wish you success in your new venture.
You are classified in the second reserve in which you
are eligible for all types of nursing service under the Red Cross.
We should like to feel that we could call upon you in event of
a disaster or other emergency occurring where you aro living.
However, responseto a call is always voluntary. You are past
the age limit for military service wilch is forty years.
Your No. 2 eard is being transferred to the Peoria
Local Committee on Red Cross Nursing Service, of which Mrs.
Frederica Humble, 1301 N. Glendale Avenue, Peoria, is Secretary.
