SIBERIAN COMMISSION, AMERICAN RED CROSS.
Chita, Siberia
January 20, 1920.
Miss Margaret McCaughy
c/o 27th U. S. Infantry Eschelon,
En route, Vladivostok.
Dear Miss McCaughy:
I am prompted by the deepest sentiment to
tell you how much your services at Verchne Udinsk have been
appreciated.
Your support and loyalty to Miss McIntyre
during a most trying period merits praise. For this and all
of the other lovely things, I thank you.
Most of us feel that our experiences in this
country have been very much worth while. It is to be hoped that
you too feel that way.
My heart aches for those poor people who
need us so badly and still do not know it. What many of them
will do after our supplies cease coming is a big question.
Some day we will all meet at a big Siberian
Reunion and talk over our mutual experiences. What fun that
will be!
With best wishes for a happy future, believe
mw to be
Very sincerely,
GRACE HARRINGTON
Acting Chief Nurse
Central Division, A.R.C.
