My dear Lt. McNamara:
This will acknowledge your letter of May 6th. We
have
noted that you have paid $20 of the $300 that you owe the American
Red Cross, leaving an uppaid balance of $280.
In your letter you suggest paying $20 each month, which is
satisfactory providing you are not able to make larger monthly
payments. I will be looking for your monthly payments of at least
this amount beginning June first, knowing you wish to clear this
debt at the earliest possible date.
