e
IUL 3 1 1929
Referred to
BAINBRIDGE, EIGHTEENTH AND FITZWATER
SUSAN c. FRANCIS, SUPERINTENDENT
STREETS ministery
July 30, 1929.
Miss Clara D. Noyes,
National Director, Nursing Service,
The American Red Cross,
National Headquarters,
Washington, D. C.
My dear Miss Noyes:
This is in response to your letter dated
July 29. all shall gladly do everything I can to
help Miss McNeil with the work of the Philadelphia
Local Committee on Red Cross Nursing Service, and
I hope she will not hesitate to call upon me at
any time she needs assistance.
I suppose you are suffering with the heat
in Washington just as we are here in Philadelphia.
I suppose there will be an end to it sometime so
the only thing to do is to go on and think about
it as little as possible.
With best wishes, as always, I am
Yours sincerely,
Susan effencis
