Even though the record in Miss Melton's case.
is not available, will you please ascertain whether it was not the
practise and routine of the United States Public Health Service in
employing nurses at the time Miss Melton was employed to secure from
such nurses a report certifying their physical fitness for duty.
I am attaching copy of my letter to Mr. B. E.
Waite, Assistant Chief Adjuster - Travelers Insurance Company, which
refers to the Nora Melton case.
