Madam:
Your nomination as nurse in the U.S.Public Health Service
has been recommended to the Department with compensation at the
rate of $720 per annum, together with quarters, subsistence and
laundry, and the 10 per cent increase granted to nurses serving
in tuberculosis hospitals, to be effective from the entrance
upon duty.
You are to prepare to proceed to U. S. Public Health Ser-
vice Hospital #55, Fort Bayard, New Mexico, but are not to pro-
ceed before the arrival of further orders with given date and
transportation which will be forwarded from the Bureau. Upon
receipt of such orders, you are requested to report on the date
designated to the Medical Officer in Charge at Fort Bayard,
New Mexico, for duty as nurse.
If for any reason you are unable to proceed upon the date
designated, you are requested to notify the Bureau by telegram.
You should secure receipts for all money paid out in pro-
ceeding from Oakland, Calif. to Fort Bayard, N. Mexico, to pre-
sent with your travel account for reimbursement.
