Miss Lucy Minmigerode,
426 E. 26th Street,
New York City 9 N. Y.
My dear Miss Minnigerodes
Your letter came just as I was getting ready to
leave Canton. I made up my mind quite suddenly to come back to Washington
the first of the weeks. So many things were coming up each day in regard
to the return of the nurses, and I am anxious to getgliss Reoves off for her
vacation the First of September, so that I made up my mind that it would be
better for me to return at once. I had hoped to have you visit me before
your return to Washington, and had planned to ask you for the last part of
my stay in Canton, so that possibly we may return together. I shall hope
for better luck next year.
Let me know as soon as you decide to return to
Washington, as I am anxious to know of your plans. Hoping that the position
may be all that you desire, bel ive me,
Sincerely yours,
Cha irman National Committee
R/IM
Red Cross Nursing Service.
