C.\nMy dear Miss Minnigerode:\nThe Graduate Nurses' Association of the\nDistrict of Columbia has just advised us of your willingness to\ncontinue service as Chairman of our District of Columbia Com-\nmittee on Red Cross Nursing Service and recommends your reappoint-\nment.\nWe are very glad to know that you are\navailable for this service and take great pleasure in informing\nyou that you are hereby reappointed Chairman of the District of\nColumbia Committee for the coming year. As you know, this appoint-\nment is made in accordance ith the rules governing such Committees\nas set forth in the enclosed copy of our pamphlet, A.R.C. 710.\nWe are also taking this opportunity to send you a copy of our\npamphlet, R.R.C. 703, recently revised, setting forth the require-\nments for enrollment in the Red Cross Nursing Service, feeling\nthat it may be helpful to you in giving others information regard-\ning enrollment.\nFor your information and file, we are\nenclosing a complete list of the personnel of the District of\nColumbia Committee as is being appointed today.\nWith good ishes and appreciation of\nyour interest and cooperation, I am\nVery sincerely yours,\nChairman, National Committee\nRed Cross Nursing Service\nMR-ec\nP. S. You will probably remember that Miss Edna Traeger, formerly\nof the Malter Reed Hospital was also nominated for appoint-\nment as a member of the Committee. We have learned from the\nArmy Nurse Corps, however, that Miss Traeger has been trans-\nferred to the Philippine Islands and is noir enroute to that\nStation. Her name is, therefore, omitted from the enclosed\nlist."
