My dear Miss Minnigerode:
The Graduate Nurses' Association of the
District of Columbia has just advised us of your willingness to
continue service as Chairman of our District of Columbia Com-
mittee on Red Cross Nursing Service and recommends your reappoint-
ment.
We are very glad to know that you are
available for this service and take great pleasure in informing
you that you are hereby reappointed Chairman of the District of
Columbia Committee for the coming year. As you know, this appoint-
ment is made in accordance ith the rules governing such Committees
as set forth in the enclosed copy of our pamphlet, A.R.C. 710.
We are also taking this opportunity to send you a copy of our
pamphlet, R.R.C. 703, recently revised, setting forth the require-
ments for enrollment in the Red Cross Nursing Service, feeling
that it may be helpful to you in giving others information regard-
ing enrollment.
For your information and file, we are
enclosing a complete list of the personnel of the District of
Columbia Committee as is being appointed today.

P. S. You will probably remember that Miss Edna Traeger, formerly
of the Malter Reed Hospital was also nominated for appoint-
ment as a member of the Committee. We have learned from the
Army Nurse Corps, however, that Miss Traeger has been trans-
ferred to the Philippine Islands and is noir enroute to that
Station. Her name is, therefore, omitted from the enclosed
list.
