Personial Vladivostok, August 26 1919 Miss Hazel G. Bruner A.R.C. Nurse Irkutsk or Verkni Udinsk My dear Miss Bruner:- The last boat from Japan brought Miss Vashti Bartlett who was associated with Miss Noyes at National Headquarters. Miss Bartlett was entrusted with your Red Cross pin, which I am sending you enclosed with this letter. I trust that it will reach you intact. I think of all of the personnel of Trains 17 and 18 every day, and wonder whether you are all busy in nursing activities, or whether you are still waiting for the hospital at Verkni Udinsk to open. I am satis- fied that your personal comforts are being supervised inesmuch as Major Manget and Miss Harrington are in your vicinity. I have asked Miss Harrington to assume charge of your units for the present and for you to take up any of your problems with her, unless there is something we can do for you at Vladivostok. This does not mean that I am not always glad to hear from any of you. Please remember me to the nurses. Very sincerely yours, Chief Nurse, Eastern Division. ALT-H Encl. pin
