September 26,1921. My dear Miss Nelson: Thank you for your letter of September 23rd. I am incorporating the pertinent sections of it into our manuscript. Your supprise in trust surprises no. It constantly escapes my mind that these facts, which we have found verified in cables and letters from Miss Deline, and which Miss Neyes had again verified in her reading of the monuscript, are not commonly known, even to the persons concerned. I have daily to remind myself of the noed for absolute impartiality and unending effort in trying to get at the very bettem of these facts and situations. Although I knew that it is unnncessary to able it, will you not please consider our entire correspendence on this subject confidential until after the publication of the History? Then many nurses will find that Miss Russell wericed under conditions which made the avard ellothe Mightingale Modal perhaps slight recompense for her labours. We are sending these sections in their entirety to her within a fow days. Thank you again for the help you have given us. I am convinced from your letter that this history may contain quite a bit of new and at least somewhat interesting reading. Sincerely, Nursing Service Miss Marry K Nelson, 73 Newbury Street Beston Mass.
