My dear Miss Fox:-
I enclose you copy of letter that I have just written to
Mr. Persons. I like Miss Nelson extremely but I need backing up and my judg-
ment strengthened as to whether she has had the proper Public Heal th experience
so that the other organizations, field representatives, and others, may recog-
nize in her a leader along this line.
She goes to Washington Sudday night but I shall not make a
decision until I have heard from you again. All her experience apparently up
this way has been distinctly hospital work.
