I am directed by the Surgeon General to advise
you that you have been appointed to the Advisory Council
of the Army School of Nursing, in accordance with Office
Order #53, copy of which is inclosed.
It is hoped that you will find it possible to
accept this appointment and to give the Army School of
Nursing and the Surgeon General's Office the advantage
of your experiencerand advice.
Should you for any reason find it impossible to
