N 0 Mrs. HELEN W. MUNSON, R. N. MARY M. ROBERTS, R. N. DORA M. CORNELISEN, R. N. Associate Editor Editor Field Representative THE AMERICAN JOURNAL OF NURSING 50 WEST FIFTIETH STREET NEW YORK CITY Official Organ of the American Nurses' Association and the National League of Nursing Education June 8, 1936 Miss +da Butler American Red Cross Washington, D.C. Dear Miss Butler The enclosed is intended for our Obituary Department. As you know, I plan to do an editorial also and to use a picture of Miss Noyes for a frontispiece to the July Journal. Will you please check the article for inaccuracies or omissions? And, please, will you return it at your early convenience? I shall welcome any suggestions. Miss Johnson tells me that the service in Lyme was very beautiful and that Miss Noyes was surrounded until the last by many friends. I am sure all was as she would have wished it. I am so glad that I know Old Lyme. It was so fit- ting for her to return there. I hope you are not too terribly worn out by it all. You have carried on magnificently but I know that the strain must have been frightfully hard to bear. Do call upon me if I can be of any use to you in the coming difficult weeks. Miss John- son is writing to you today and will tell you that I concur in the suggestions she is sending you. You-have my admiration and affection. Faithfully s/ Madpy have Editor Roberts yours M. 2
