Miss virginia M.Dunbar,
National Red Cross Headquarters,
Washington, D.C.
Dear Miss Dumbar;-
Thank you very much for your kind letter of sympathy
ana regret at hearing of the death of my sister Christine.
Her
sudgen illness and death has been a great shock to us all.
Owing to my own rather poor health I was unable to
attena the services at Arlington Cemetary. I regret this very
much ror 1 am sure the services were very impressive. A most
beautirul service was held here in St.George's Church. Many letters
OI sympathy have been received from friends of Christine all of
wnich are greatly appreciated.
Did any Washington newspaper report the services
at Arlington ?
If so I would very much appreciate the name of
the paper in order that I may secure a copy of the report.
Thanking you again for your very kind letter,
I remain,
Sincerely,
amistities
manhasset, my
