Mr. w. Frank Persons.

Miss Clara D. Noyes.
Miss Christine M. Nuno.

Inasmuch as Miss Nuno has been receiving and closing
e
out all matters in connection with returning personnel that can
be settled in New York, since the first of January; and a request
M
has been made through Mr. Sloan that she be retained for this
e
service, I hope that you will approve of the recommendation which
a
I made under date of February 8, 1922, to Mr. Hill - that an in-

in salary
crease/Trom $170 to $200 be allowed.
a
It was my hope that this would go into effect a. of
February 1, 1922. Miss Nuno's work, while heavy and deals with
all the questions of closing up the accounts of each person,
procuring transportation, etc, anduas the character of the service
requires a person of unusual qualifications, I trust that this
increase will be permitted. I note by your letter of February 27th,
that Miss Nuno's salary will remain charged to Domestic Operations.
Rrovision has been made for the salary of an extra clerical worker.
Yours very trulys
Director - Nursing Service.
