My dear Niss 0°Connor:
It has been with regret that we havo received word of
your being unable to fulfill the service which you undertook in
acceptiag appointaent through the Red Cross to the esergency
medical service of the Territory of Hawaii.
Aa you aust realize that the conduct which has aade it
necessary to terminate your service is reason for a dishonorable
discharge, and that on the basis of this you have disqualified
yourself E8 a Red Cross murse, I na therefore requesting that you
return to this office your Red Cross nurse's badge and appointment
card. The badge and card, as you were told at the time of enroll-
ment, remein the property of the American Red Cross and must be
returned at the request of the organization in any case where the
individual to whom they are issued does not continue to meet the
requirements of the organization.
I have received your letter of Merch 24, asking that
you be referred to the Aray Nurse Corps for service. On the besis
of your record it is not possible for us to recommend you for this
service.
