We are in receipt of a recent communication from Miss Catherine
V. Nardi, Assistant to Director of Nursing in our North Atlantic area
concerning your inquiry as to the whereabouts of your sister-in-law
Mias Carolyn Lucille 0°Connor.
Through the American Red Cross Nursing Service Miss 0°Connor re-
cently accepted a foreign assignment in a civilian mirsing program and
has left the Mainland. Ne shall communicate with her at once advising
her of Mr. Thomas Malony's concern over her departure and trust that
she will want to communicate with him as to her whereabouts and present
position.
We can assure you that as far as we know she is perfectly well
and is taking active professional part in a civilian nursing program.
