My dear Miss Godsoe:
I
We have been notified of your release from active service
and prosume that you are intending to return to public hoalt mursing.
You may know that the Red Cross has a public heal mursing service
which covers a rather extensive range of work in counties and small
towns in the majority or the states. A considerable expansion of
this work is anticipated in the next few months as part of the peace-
time activities of the Red. Cross. As a result the Red. Cross has and
will contizmo to have, nuch need for public heal th nurses. Believing
that you may wish to continue in Red. Cross service and at the same
time to be doing public health work for which the country is so greatly
in need, we are writing to ask is you would be interested in entering
our Public Health Nursing Service. If you are, we shall be glad to
toll you more about it.
We hope to hear from you in regard to the matter.
