My dear Miss Lundy:- We have been advised by Miss Johnson, Director, of the Atlantic Division, that you have recently returned to the United States. A number of Army hospitals have also been transferred to the Public flealth Service for this purpose, and we will need in the near future a number of nurses to act as Chief Nurses in these hospitals. A circular explaining the work is enclosed herewith. The salary will be $80.00 per month, with a $10.00 increase, also quarters, subsistence and laundry.
