My dear Miss Shuford:-
We were notified that you would be available
January lst.
Since the cessation fo hostilities in France
conditions have changed considerably. We have been notified by the
War Department that the cantonments are full and no more nurses are
required at present.
I would advise you not to give up your position,
if you have one, or any work that you may be doing, unless you should
be notified later that your services are required. Kindly keep in
