G Mr. Mulhall. March 23,1923. Miss Butler, Asst. to the Director, Nursing Serviçe. This is to acknowledge the receipt of Miss Gertrude M. Smith's folder and your letter stating that the case has been transmitted to the Travelers for investigation and action. After my last talk with you I wrote still anot her letter to Miss Sarah Shaw, who I discovered was Chief Nurse at Rimini where Miss Smith was sick. I am hoping that we may get some information from her which will be valuable in establishing Miss Smith's claim. Thanking you for your interest in this matter and your patience with the Assistant Director of the Nursing Service when she gets a little bit "het up" over the poor, disabled nurses, Youra very truly, Ida F.
