My dear Miss Stahl:
The Navy Nurse Corps has informed us that you ure not
svailable for service at this time and has returned your cards
together with your better to them.
We appreciate your writing the Navy and are sorry that
you are not able to accept an assignment. We realize, however, that
your response needs to depend upon conditions at the time you are
called, but we believe you would wish to be retained as & First
Reserve nurse in this energency with the expectation that sometime
you may be available according to the need. We are, therefore, re-
taining your records in the First Reserve classification.
If in the future you find that your situation has changed
and thit you are able to accept service, we shall be grateful if
you will notify us promptly in order that your cards may be returned
to the Navy Nurse Corps.
