We shall expect you to arrange to arrive in San Francisco by
September 15, 1943 unless we hear from you to the contrary.
Due to crowded conditions on the trains, reservations should be
made as soon as you receive your appointment letter and accept the appoint-
ment.
As you undoubtedly noted in the instructions in the General Infor-
mation sheet, the Red Cross will advance the money to cover your travel ex-
pense from your home to Hawaii. This check will be mailed to you within a
short time. We shall want to keep in close touch with you from now on, so
please keep us informed of any current change of address or telephone number.
If you have any problems which are not answered in the printed enclosures,
please feel free to write us at any time.
