My dear Miss Fox:
May I advise you that I greatly appreciate
your frankness in writing about Miss Helen Teal.
She has not
applied to us for assistance and under the circumstances I did not
feel like approaching her particularly because you say that you were
telling her about an impending vacancy in the Virgin Islands. If
she does not take this position in the Virgin Islands and if you have
any definite suggestions that you could offer me as to the type of
position in which Miss Teal could be a real success I shall be most
happy to do what I can. At the present time I do not seem to have
listed any opportunities that I could approach her about.
If
I could only have a chance to talk with her it would be much more
satisfactory.
