FOR FILING
September 3, 1926.
Miss Helen Teal,
734 East Mitchell St.,
Kendellville, Indiana.
ity dear Miss Teal:
I forgot to give you leave of absence cards the other day and so
am sending them on to you now. I spoke to Mr. Fieser and Miss Prentis about it
and find that you have nine days coming to you, which I figure will take you up
to noon September 10th. will you please fill in and sign the cards and send
them back to me at your convenience.
Miss Grosoup told me that you were strongly inclined to take the
Seattle position if your mother and nephew can 80. I have sent Miss Carr in the
material for the October "Public Health Nurse" a peregraph about your resignation
in which I have said that you are going to Seattle. I have written Miss Carr
that the matter is not yet settled and I may have to send her word later to omit
the whole message about your resignation until next month when I will probably be
able to tell what your plans are. I wrote her I would let her know within the
next few days whether to retain or omit this material, so will you 1st me know as
soon as the matter is settled one way or another.
I do hope you found your nephew in better condition than you enticipated
and that it will be possible to work out an arrangement which will enable you to go
to Seattle.
The picnic yesterday was a great success. I am so sorry you were not
there.
With best wishes,
Yours sincerely,
EGF:eb
