My dear Miss Thomas:
We are interested to learn through Mrs. Isabelle W.
Baker, National Director, Home Hygiene and Care of the Sick Service,
that according to your letter of March 25 to her, you are accepting
a public health position in Oregon and expect to go to that state
shortly. We hasten to write you hoping our letter will reach you
before leaving Helena. We find that you have not brought your en-
rollment records up to date by filling in an address questionnaire
since March 1927 and hence we enclose a questionnaire form. We will
greatly appreciate it if you will completely fill in this form at your
earliest opportunity and return it to us for our files. We do not
make this request with any intention of asking you to render any active
service but we simply wish to have your records up to date and active.
May we ask you adso to be sure to send us your full address in Oregon
as soon as you are located there so that we may take the necessary
steps toward having your enrollment record (#2 card) transferred from
the Montana State and Local Committee, with which it is now on file, to
the Oregon State and Local Committee in the jurisdiction of which you are
located.
Feeling sure you will wish to have your records as a
Red Cross nurse up to date and hoping you will promptly let us have your
reply to this letter, we are
