My dear Miss Thomas:
Your name has been suggested to us as
speaker for our Chautauqua course of lectures. We cannot
find that you are enrolled in our Red Cross Nursing Service
which is, of course, a pre-requisite for this particular
form of work.
We note that you were in France with ARC
Hospital As this was a Red Cross Hospital we are rather
at loss to understand how you sacured your appointment. Thiss
possible, however, that this was staffed by the Aryy Nurse Corps.
You may, therefore, have entered that service direct, instead of
through the Had Cross.
Hoping to hear from you soon regarding the
Chautauqua work, balieve me as
