Extract from letter to Miss Fox from Miss Ahrens, Central Div., August 6, 1921:
"I am not sure that I told you Miss Tittman is giving up her work in the office
with us and is expecting to go to Columbia three fall to take the public health course.
Miss Gowdy, who gave up her work in St. Louis, came to us the first of July and it is
a great joy to have her with us again. She will take on the work which Miss Tittman
is leaving and with her experience I believe she will give us a valuable service."
