My dear Mr. Gibson:
I
am enclosing a letter addressed to me by Miss
Ethel Trainor, wi th four copies attached, numbers 1 to 4 inclusive.
Miss Trainor's lettersets forth the facts.
I have known her in personal way for several years.
She was head nurse in the Union Street Hospital at Selma, the
President of which is Dr. John N. Furniss, a brother-in-law of mine.
I discussed Miss Trainor with him on Sunday last, and he expressed
the highest opinion of her personally and professionally. She is
a young woman of splendid business endowments, well educated and
of strong moral character
I earnestly covet your personal consideration of this
matter.
Very truly yours,
airman
LMH-o.
