May 23, 1928 Miss Ann C. Galway, Office of the Field Director, American Red Cross, Letterman General Hospital, San Francisco, Calif. My dear Miss Calway: Your letter inquiring as to the present where- abouts of Miss Charlotte E. Van Duzor, has been referred to the Nursing Service for a reply. In January of this year she sent us her annual quostionnaire, giving her permanent address as Franklin, Massachusetts. This has been her permanent address ever since she left the Red Cross and we are greatly surprised to hear that mail addressed to her was returned unclaimed. She is living with her friend, Miss. Katharine W. Holmes, at the same address, so possibly, in communicating with her the letter might be addressed in care of Miss Holmes so that there would be no question of Miss Van Duzor not receiving it. On her questionnaire, Miss Van Duzor states that her present physical condition is good, and as members of our Staff have kept in close touch with her since she resigned her position as Assistant Director, Public Health Nursing Service, we feel quite sure that there is no cause for any alarm relative to her condition. Very truly yours, Ida F. Butler, Assistant to the National Director, Red Cross Nursing Service IFB-00
