My dear Miss Jordan:
We have on file a letter from you in regard to
the Elsie Marguerite Jessup, graduate of the New York
Hospital. Her application of 1916 was not accepted, but inasmuch
as she has be n on auty in France for sometime and a second appli-
cation has been received for her with orede: tials from the hospital
in whidh hos beon employed, stating that she is a capable and effi-
cient nurse, and also from Miss Sara E. Shaw who is in charge of some
special Social Service Work either in Italy or France, we are asking
if you are willing to fill out the enclosed credential for her or if
not to seni any statement which you can to be placed with her papers.
Am enclosing S tamped envelope for reply and any
communicati n will be considered confidential.
