My dear Miss Waterbury
I was sorry not to see you when you called
upon me at National Headquarters, for I should have liked very
much to have talked over the situation in the Virgin Islands with
you. I hope, however, that the rest and change has benefited your
health, and that you are veturning to the Islands with renewed
strength and enthusiasm.
May I take this opportunity to thank you for
the little remembrances that you were good enough to leave for me.
