Dear Miss Petersen:
We are sending you today Miss Waters' Red Cross
pin and in accordance with your suggestion we have insured it for
$5.00. With regard to the appointment card about which you make
inquiry, we do not find such a card among Miss Waters' effects, but
if we should come across it later, we shall send it to you.
Miss Waters died at her home in Groton, August 16,
1938. Our records show that she died of a cerebral hemorrhage after
a prolonged period of illness.
May we please be advised when you have received
the pin?
